Brandon J Frank – President
For several years I have been striving to create a platform for the exposure of Art in all its forms. I own and operate a video production company and we work daily with songwriters, performers, actors, fine artists and beyond. I have personally endeavored to host a multitude of live events, cross promotional in nature, in an attempt to put talent on a stage and also to package it professionally so that it may be viewed not only as a homegrown project, but by the world at large.
I had an early start, leading my first play at the age of 8. The same year I would meet a psychic that would set me on a path and change my life indefinitely. At 16 I made my first move into theater directing, being the first student in our school board to receive a budget to co-direct a play with one of my peers. When I realized how much more malleable a theme could be with control over every factor, not just acting, I was addicted. The same year I picked up a video camera and the rest was history.
I attended Fanshawe College where I earned a diploma in both Television Broadcasting and Advanced Film making. There after I have executed a myriad of projects to include a feature film and several feature documentaries. I am always striving to write, film, package and inspire.
I create film, as I do prose, with a simple mandate. To share tangibly with the world what I think and how I feel. To me art is a viable means to bind your mind with the public. You draw reflection from self and your independent perspective; however, powerful art follows a convention, a standard meter, universally accepted. By infusing your feelings with a genuinely respected medium, you allow yourself to enter the perception of others and therefore transcend self, thereby instilling indisputable feeling in others, as intangible as the feelings start.
I also like to think of my films as poetry. My films have been exhibited around Ontario and have received prizes for both best film, best screen play and crowd favorite, times over. It is also noteworthy that as a child I won several public speaking awards and have continued forward using my words as a tool to promote thought and entice change.
In any capacity, my goal is to share my simple theory of balance. Scientifically energy cannot be created or destroyed. It only changes forms, and therefore the energy present today is the same energy as hundreds of years ago. In our lives we will experience both the positive and negative aspects of this energy. There is no escaping this balance. However, if you can accept that, and appreciate the negatives as means to an end, stepping stones toward the positive, then you can be a part of the minority. The minority are those who remain positive throughout the lows and help to breed the same mind state in others.
