This week, I had the amazing opportunity to get (maybe a little too) close and comfortable with the guys from Calvin James, Matt, Blake and Coby.
I say “maybe a little too close and comfortable” with the guys because as you can see above, I most definitely made them hold me up for a good 15 minutes before we got a picture decent enough for my blog. I mean, I didn’t mind being that close and personal, but for them? Poor guys!
Matt, Blake and Coby were an absolute blast! I allowed myself to skip the gym that day because my abs seriously hurt from laughing so much with them. I was surprised to see how passionate and serious they were about their music, being only 19 and 20! Throughout all my questions, their passion, devotion and dedication was obvious – especially when I asked them about their wieners. Oh, I’m just kidding… I did ask them about their wieners though! Hey! Us ladies need to know the goods!
I don’t want to get into too much detail about the interview, so I am going to leave you hanging, asking yourself, “…wieners?!” I guess you’ll just have to watch the episode to see who’s the biggest!
The guys were nice enough to give me a signed copy of their album, Soil and Stone (available on iTunes)…. even after I made them sweat from holding me up. I know! Nice guys, right?
After work, I had a couple of hours of driving and listened to their album the whole way.

Multiple times too! I absolutely love it! My favourite song is “1999″ and I’m pretty sure that I should just join the band because I know all of the words. Just saying!
