Have you ever been casually walking your dog on the sidewalk downtown, when a man to your left runs by in sweats and a muscle shirt and up an 18 foot wall in a matter of seconds? No you say? Well the people that witnessed the making of the very first episode of Speed City Select have. People of the world, without any further a due i am proud to present to you proudly, Parkour!

Hello people!

First of all i would like to welcome you to our freshly re-launched website, WrecklessCrew.com. As some of you may know by now, we have launched a web show dedicated entirely to some of the most extreme, daring, nerve racking sports and activities on the planet. We call it ‘Speed City Select’.

For our first episode of Speed City Select I have chosen to cover a not so talked about, but very respectable physical art form, it goes by the name of Parkour. What is parkour? Parkour is just when you run from A to B in the most efficient way you possibly can, using skills like climbing, jumping, and sprinting. Sounds easy enough, right? However, Dalton Orr(our star of Episode 1) also ads flips, rolls and dives into the mix, making it more of a mix between ‘Parkour’ and ‘Free Running’.

Parkour (pronounced par-KOOR): As defined by David Belle(founder) “Parkour

is the art of moving through your environment as swiftly and effectively as possible using only the human body.”

Free running is a form of urban acrobatics in which participants use the city and rural landscape to perform movements through its structures.

Dalton Orr is a London Ontario local who will try anything new that comes his way, wether its skateboarding, snowboarding, cliff diving, or dirt biking. You name it he’s tried it, and if he hasn’t you can be sure you’ve planted a seed in his mind. So when he found out about parkour/free running, he was all over it. In under a year Dalton has gotten to the level he is at now with Parkour while juggling both a job and university all at the same time.
